2. Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett
I found this book to be very readable, which was a welcome relief after reading Cradle. It has also been very enjoyable and a very quick, addictive read. I had become a little uninterested in Pratchett of late, but with this book my faith is restored. It was funny, exciting and engaging througout with a clever story and rich characters. It was sweeping along just like the war that the book describes.
For people that know Discworld, this is set outside of Ankh-Morpork with a new set of chatacters, though some of the watch make an appearance, so if you were to class it it would be a Watch book.
Great reading.
I give this one 4.5 out of 5
Some maths -
2 books out of 50 = 4%
867 out of 15000 pages = 5.78%

I have recently read "Going Postal" also by Terry Pratchett and would recommend it.
Going Postal is on the shelf waiting to be read :D
