Also we bought a tiny blue coat and a texturized giraffe toy. That is also grown up. yes.
"The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed."
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Strike out the books you have no intention of ever reading, or were forced to read at school and hated.
5) Reprint this list in your own LJ
It is yellow.
I had just done a flawless completion of the banana cup on the wii and the bloody thing crashed! It totally went kaput, the screen froze, it went "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" and none of the buttons worked, not even power. :o
Phew. We have milk now.
Hello fellow livejournal users!
We've ran out of milk. It's tragic!
Honestly, I've never heard such tosh.
We are ok. We have been feeding the cats these whiskas "oh so meaty" pouches lately which they seem to enjoy a lot more than their usual food. Suzy actually eats it, which is a novelty. Shame it costs a fortune. I do not think we can keep feeding them that because they get through 6 pouches a day instead of one tin a day. Whiskas do not do oh so meaty in tins for some reason. Probably because they can get more money out of us. grrr.
Yesterday we walked around to the strata homes "Embrace" complex which is being built to the right of our house to go and nosey around the show house. (Since they are all looking about the same size as our house but have a million bedrooms.) but they have not built one yet! How shocking. There is a portacabin sales office but it is not joined to anything. The sales assisstant must be very bored, I do not know what there is for her to do.
I have not taken any photos for a while. I need to do that. Also need to play on the guitar and set up the printer. ooer.

Hello!
It is almost moooving day. Tomorrow is the final bits of packing day, then the day after is moooving day! The cats went to the catery today. We had to actually tip Charlie out of a box that he was hiding in into his carrying case :/ it was sort of sad but comical. Probably better than chasing him around for hours though. Hopefully they will be fine. When we left them they had all hidden in the same carrying box inside their cat unit.
Our pack of 10 egyptian cotton towels finally arrived today, which is good because it didn't have long left to do so! Watch Price Drop tv. yeah.
wooop!
Hello, it's me again with today's housing update!
The sales person rang today (Bev, a new one I had not spoken to before as it is Karen's day off) and said that Persimmon are going to put the wardrobes in as we originally agreed for no extra charge.
She didn't know when, though, so it's mixed blessings really.
Ahh well.
It's me again. Today Suzy had another mouse. It was outside, but still a mouse. Dead today. So that's dead, alive, dead. I hope for no mouse tomorrow. They seem to have become efficient mouse catchers all of a sudden, probably because next door insists on peppering the area with chunks of bread for the birds (even though bread is not great to give to birds, and just creates rubbish and encourages mice.)
Today the builders rang us up about our wardrobes. They are trying to scam another three hundred and something quid out of us by claiming that we were quoted wrongly for the wardrobes originally and the ones they actually quoted for go across a smaller wall. Hmm, bit ODD though that they didn't notice this when the head office signed off on the plans, even though they did notice quite a few other small picky details that they had the sales assistant re-write, such as words in the wrong place on the order form. What a load of shite.
I have asked for the order to be cancelled and our money back, so we shall see.
In other news, the movers dropped off a massive stack of boxes today in flat form, so we are totally swimming in boxes now. There's boxes everywhere.
Tomorrow is MOT test day.
